Ethan's first movie trip

Today marked a very special day. As a "treat" for Ethan (because he slept in his room and his bed ALL week) we got a babysitter for Lucas and took him to see Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs. Just Mommy, Daddy, and Ethan!! He was SO excited. We talked about how loud the movie would be, the size of the theatre, the seats, that we had to buy tickets, the whole deal.

I was truly curious to see if it would go as smoothly as we hoped! Well, I must admit...it was much better! Ethan did phenomenal. He sat it Brian's lap for the entire movie. He had an absolute blast and did a remarkable job!

I will say that part of the reason it went so well is we went to a 10:00am show at AMC on Bush River knowing the only other people that would be there at 10am on a Saturday would also have small children.

All in all, it was a good time had by all. The movie was very cute and funny. I recommend it to any families with children!

I love this...It looks like Ethan is getting eaten by the dinosaur too

Saturday we went to the Peach Festival in Gilbert. We watched the parade, played games, saw lots of cool stuff, and ate amazing food! It was a great day!
