On this very day three years ago, Brian and I woke up at 5:30 am, put all our things in the car, and headed to Summerville Medical Center. We reported promptly at 6:30 am, as the doctor instructed, and met our fabulous nurse! The protocin was started at 8:00 am, the epideral came at 2:30, and Ethan arrived at 8:20 pm. It was a long day, but worth it to meet our son! Ethan Thomas Parsons was 7 lbs. 9 oz. and 20 1/2 inches long. Three years later he is 30 lbs. and 36 1/2 inches tall. Wow, does the time fly!

We had a great time at the party. Peyton keeps asking about Ethan - I think he's finally coming out of his shell! We need to get together after the holidays.
